Our inspiration for this curatorial endeavor is the office of a friend of ours who is one of the world's leading experts on eschatology. The bottom floor of his living space is choked with all manner of apocalyptic, magical, and visionary ephemera. So SHIP would become the (former?) dwelling of an end-times obsessive who rode the wave out, so to speak.
