TALK TALK, a multi-media live outdoor improvisational talk show created by visual artist Jason Sherry and host/personality Matt Hoyt.  Join us for a night of comedy, art, music, and social satire. Through improvisation and humor Talk Talk reflects on the complexities of life by embracing the absurdity and hilarity of what it has to offer. With extraordinary special guests, performances, and mind-bending sketches, each Talk Talk episode has viewers on the edge of their seat, waiting to find out what else the satirical twists and turns will bring each segment. Tune-in to WSOHOIDPS on December 2nd and participate in the live recording in the all-green studio.

Matt Hoyt is a San Diego based director, writer, producer, actor, and musician. His music videos and films have been featured on Wired.com, PBS’ Emmy Award winning series The Short List, as well as film festivals throughout the US. Hoyt has an M.A. in Film and Television from San Diego State University and a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. While in the Bay Area, he worked as the assistant literary manager at San Francisco’s historic Magic Theatre for two seasons. Matt Hoyt debuted an early version of the multi-media project Antarctic...huh? along with local artist Jason Sherry in MCASD's "Here, Not There" exhibition.

Jason Sherry is a multidisciplinary visual artist working in video, photography, sculpture, collage, and installation. Sherry creates singular pieces for the gallery space as well as multimedia works for less traditional exhibition spaces. He has shown in galleries, museums, and festivals across the United States, most notably in the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego with frequent collaborator Matt Hoyt. In 2016 Sherry was the artist in residence at Bread & Salt San Diego. Two intertwined projects were conceived and executed during the residency: “Talk Talk,” a talk show with an all green set and host, and an untitled science fiction video about a green planet and a planet made of pizza. Jason Sherry was born, lives, and works in San Diego California.
